Yardwork

Do you enjoy being outdoors and playing in the dirt? Cutting the lawn, trimming bushes, planting flowers, raking leaves are all activities that are either needful or help a senior feel good about where they live. As one of the missions of Friends is to help seniors age in place (if that is their choosing), assistance with yard work can be of great help.

Maybe you’re looking for a regular gig in helping a senior — commit to maintaining their yard for the summer. Maybe you don’t have the time for a regular commitment, but want to help where you can — trim bushes which have gotten out of hand or plant flowers at the beginning of a season. There are many opportunities in this area where seniors will appreciate whatever you can offer.

Contact us through the form to the right if this is an area where you would like to serve.
