SNAP Benefits Increase

Attention Seniors!

Governor Kemp recently announced a vast increase in SNAP benefits for our seniors.  SNAP benefits increased from $15/month up to a maximum benefit amount for their household size which is $194/month for a household of one based on qualifications.   This is a temporary supplement for SNAP Program due to COVID-19.  Please spread the word to seniors to see if they qualify and to apply for SNAP using the link below.

The Georgia Food Stamp Program (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), is a federally-funded program that provides monthly benefits to low-income households to help pay for the cost of food. A household may be one (1) person living alone, a family, or several unrelated individuals cohabitating who routinely purchase and prepare meals together.
